Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a VMware Admin with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA, Charlotte, NC and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Schedule, coordinate, implement and troubleshoot VM migrations in a large scale production VMware based cloud service on Client and Dell server hardware Requirements: Minimum 5years' experience supporting and troubleshooting issues for VMware vSphere7.x and 8.x beyond VM support Strong networking, infrastructure knowledge and troubleshooting ability Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organization skills Experience in executing technical strategy Ability to work in a high pressure environment where time to deliver is of paramount importance Meticulous attention to detail Experience in planning and implementing large technical projects Ability to follow, define, document and implement technical procedures Strong understanding and experience with security and authentication of VMware and hardware interfaces Strong understanding and ability to work in an ITIL Framework Experience in communication with and working on global teams within a large organization Experience supporting HCX Pay Range: $50.55-$58.55 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
