Job Description

Apex Therapeutic Services is contracted with NYC DOE, and we provide pediatric occupational therapy to students ranging from PreK- 12 grade. For over two decades, we have been dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our students.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position is instrumental in helping students access their full potential and achieve all possible milestones through tailored occupational therapy interventions.

*RATES- $80-100/HOUR DEPENDING ON SETTING, LOCATION, AND EXPERIENCE*

*Qualifications*

* Master's degree in speech therapy from an accredited program
* Current NY state Speech Therapy license
* TSSLD
* Experience in a school setting preferred, but new grads with pediatric experience are encouraged to apply
* Strong communication and collaboration skills

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify speech and language disorders.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
* Provide speech therapy sessions, focusing on improving communication skills and patient care.
* Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals, particularly in pediatric settings.
* Educate families on early intervention strategies to support their child's development.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
