We are seeking a Senior Release Manager to join the team responsible for enabling the delivery of world-class products and experiences to its customers. This role involves collaborating across portfolio roadmaps, programs, and value delivery to ensure seamless execution of releases. As a Senior Release Manager, you will proactively partner with teams across program management, product, engineering, release engineering, and quality to execute high-quality releases while driving continuous improvement, process efficiencies, and exceptional outcomes. Job Responsibilities: Release Framework & Governance : Lead a global release framework with a continuous delivery mindset across teams and geographies. Change Management : Manage all change activities from planning through testing and deployment. Risk Management : Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans for releases of varying complexities. Operational Readiness : Partner with support and operations teams to ensure readiness for production changes. Communication : Clearly and effectively convey updates and technical issues across all organizational levels. Release Cadence : Define and drive a global release cadence, ensuring timely and structured delivery. Metrics & Improvements : Define and track key metrics to evaluate release effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration : Synchronize scope, cadence, and delivery requirements across product, program, quality, and engineering teams. Scheduling Decisions : Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to make informed release scheduling decisions. Meetings & Retrospectives : Facilitate go/no-go, checkpoint, and retrospective meetings to ensure continuous improvement. Planning Sessions : Participate in capability standups and PI planning to scope and plan upcoming releases. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or 2+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree). Strong understanding of release processes, agile methodologies, and technical frameworks (Agile/Lean, SAFe, ITIL). Experience with development and deployment automation tools in the software lifecycle. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in CI/CD tools and processes, with a focus on improving integration and release operations. Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Experience with mobile app deployments and app store processes (Apple App Store and Google Play). Expertise in Change Management and Release Frameworks. Strong communication skills to articulate complex issues effectively to diverse audiences. Experience in eCommerce platforms, mobile apps, and operational readiness for complex features.
