Job Description

A leading client of Insight Global is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Tucson, AZ. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of the payroll department, ensuring timely and accurate handling of communications, data requests, and financial documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the payroll department’s group email inbox.
• Assign incoming emails to appropriate payroll administrators for resolution.
• Respond to internal and external data requests, including those from other departments and outside auditors.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end tasks for the payroll department.
• Support monthly account reconciliations and preparation of journal entries.
• Contribute to the reconciliation and preparation of payroll-related tax returns.
• Maintain and update payroll records in Laserfiche, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications :

• 2-3 years in the payroll space
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with in-house payroll systems such as PeopleSoft

This is a year long contract with extensions (W2 employment and medical, dental, vision offered starting day one of employment and 401K plan starting day 90)

Compensation:

$21/hr to $24/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
