The Director of Merchandising (Specialty Sizing) will be responsible for developing and implementing the emerging categories strategy for the client. This individual must have at least 8 years of retail merchandising experience in Womens apparel, with a preference for luxury expertise. E-commerce and/or DTC experience is also preferred. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven decision maker with a deep understanding of consumer and retail sector dynamics.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with external partners. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a critical eye for anticipating customer needs. The Director of Merchandising must be a continuous learner, open to new perspectives and proactive in the face of challenges. They should be motivated by a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be willing to stretch into or out of their functional comfort zones for team success.
