The University of Miami UHealth – Department of Urology at SoLé Mia has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Business Operations Representative 1. The Clinical Business Operations Representative 1 facilitates the prompt resolution of problems related to pre and post care that arise in daily clinical operations. The incumbent performs general administrative and receptionist functions, to include answering incoming calls, efficient management of patients, and the acquisition of necessary patient care and records. The Clinical Business Operations Representative 1 assists patients in a courteous, efficient and professional manner and ensures adherence to divisional and departmental service standards. Core job functions include managing expectations surrounding pre and post patient care, obtaining or reviewing patient demographic information, insurance information and referral numbers, reviewing clinical records for completeness, answering multiple telephones, greeting visitors and callers, working cooperatively with fellow employees, providing coverage for co-workers, promoting effective communication, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to University policies. Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, no previous experience required. Skills include data entry with minimal errors, effective communication, ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends, data collection and analysis, ability to work independently or collaboratively, and commitment to the University’s core values.
