Come join our Cardiology team. We are a 52-bed unit with all private rooms. We are a team that is highly engaged in giving great quality care to the people we serve.

\n \n\n \n

We primarily care for patients with various cardiac conditions such as, post myocardial infractions, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, angina, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and patients post cardiac catheterizations.

\n \n\n \n

We enjoy training and supporting new nurses to ensure their success into the nursing profession. We also enjoy working with nurses with years of experience who can bring new ideas to improve the care we give.

\n \n\n \n

The role you’ll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

The Assistant Nurse Manager supervises and coordinates patient care delivery on the assigned nursing units and is accountable for meeting standards. The Assistant Nurse Manager supports the assigned unit by planning, directing, and evaluating all nursing service functions and activities for the assigned patient care unit to ensure delivery of optimal available quality patient care and organizational effectiveness.

\n \n\n \n

The Assistant Nurse Manager completes concurrent chart audits of assigned areas to ensure charting within the EMR is complete, accurate and specific to the patients’ diagnosis, plan of care and core measures. Ensures that errors and omissions are corrected in a timely manner. Coordinates staff educational needs.

\n \n\n \n

Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change

Qualifications

\n \n

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

\n \n\n \n\n
    \n
  • Minimum of one-year hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one year prior leadership experience
  • \n \n
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • \n \n
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • \n \n
  • BSN preferre
  • \n \n
  • Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license
  • \n \n\n \n\n
