Position: Accounts Payable Bookkeeper(Permanent)

Location: Honolulu

Industry: Non-Profit

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually (depending on experience)

Parking: Provided on-site

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to manage the company's outgoing finances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintaining vendor records, and reconciling accounts. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a good understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify incoming invoices in accordance with company policies.
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
• Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
• Maintain accurate and organized vendor files and payment records.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment issues.
• Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Support audits by providing documentation and account details as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments such as procurement and finance.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
